A Rafanelli Winery dates back to the 1900's. It was founded by an Italian Immigrant couple whos ettled in Healdsburg. After Prohibition their son took the reings and started the A Rafanelli label that we know today. His granddaughters now run the winery. The Zinfandel is medium bodied with loads of red berried fruit. Expect some vanilla and baking spice from some time spent in oak. Think grilled meats.
