Pinot Noir reigns supreme in Burgundy, but there is a little Gamay grown there. When the two are mixed the resulting wine is albeled a "passetoutgrain". Willamette valleys grows both varieties so why not have an American version. The wine is lite with bunches of fresh berries and a ton of energy. It is probably not the best choice for a tomahoawk ribeye, but it will go well with just about everything else. Organically farmed, Natural yeast fermentation. Aged for 12 months in old neutral oak barrels. less than 300 cases made.
