The Gras family has been making benchmark Gigondas for six generations. They went full Organic in 1985. Biodynamic certification came in 2017. Most if not all farmwork is done manually. There are no GMO products in the winery, instead all fermentations use only indigenous yeasts. Aux Lieux Dits is a selection of all their holdings throughout Gigondas. Mainly Grenache with small additions of Syrah, Mouvedre, and Cinsault. The wine is big with lots of red and blue berry fruit. A backbone of widl herbs and lightly grippy tannins. There is a reason it was included in the book,"The World's Greatest Wine Estates".
