Ar Pe Pe sits in the region of Valtellina in Lombardy. These are some of the steepest slopes that grow vines anywhere in the world. It is also one of the most beautiful places you can imagine. The winery was restarted in the 80's after having been sold in the 70's. Today they make some of the best and distinctive Nebbiolo around. The wine is big and bold yet still light and fresh. Cherry alongside some brambly red berries provide the fruit with light provencal herbs, a touch of vanilla, and light tannins providing the backbone. A must try for wine fans.
